“Brooke”

Not just a breed

of any kind;

tall,

powerful,

yet blonde and fair.

Short-haired,

it contrasted her;

long haired,

it made her shine.

She, with long hair

blonde,

body petite

quite beautiful.

Eyes deep,

sensuous

gleaming,

made my time

                    stand

                            still.

Protected

by her guard dog,

wrapped up

             at night,

                        safe.

Me,

her shining knight,

yet I know,

now she is the better!
